Humanities Faculty
The KISAS Humanities & English team teaches a curriculum designed by Dr Kim Sun (D.Phil. Education, Oxford), delivered by educators who have studied and taught across Korea, the UK, the US, Canada and Indonesia. With this broad cross-cultural understanding, they help students think more widely and express themselves in their own voice through English.

Todd W. Seffrood
An educator with over 15 years of experience in Korea, with extensive work in ESL education, communication courses, and curriculum development at universities.

Chris Brunjes
A Canadian educator, Chris Brunjes is currently a professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Daejeon University and has worked extensively in university teaching and English education in Korea. Drawing on broad experience in English writing, business English, TESOL, and humanities-based English classes, he helps students think and express themselves more confidently in English.

Haesung Choi
Teaches music at GVCS Mungyeong Campus, conducting creative expression-focused classes that integrate music education and English in an international school setting.

Yoonki Lee
Yoonki Lee is an emerging global researcher who has studied and worked across Korea and the UK, and is currently continuing graduate study and research in International Relations at the University of Oxford on a path toward advanced academic work in the field. With strong academic depth and a broad understanding of global issues, he helps students develop their reading, discussion, and writing with greater clarity and depth.

Yewon Kim
Yewon Kim is a communication-focused education professional with experience in both English learning support and community operations. Having worked with learners of different ages and levels, she helps students participate comfortably and grow steadily in English through thoughtful support and strong communication.

Jason Farrel (JF)
Jason Farrel, also known as JF, is an internationally minded TA who has built experience in both music and education across Indonesia and Korea. While studying K-Pop Arts Management, he has developed experience in lyric writing, composition, vocal directing, and music direction, while also helping students engage more naturally in English and creative expression.

Lina Kim
A TA with an international perspective, having studied in both the U.S. and Korea. At Columbia University, she studied film, media, and English literature, building experience in teaching English reading and writing as well as in film and theatre production. She helps students engage more naturally in English and creative expression activities.
K-pop Faculty
Subject teachers teach; supporters run the evening team practice (every other day)

Donggun Lee
MA from Dongguk University Graduate School of Culture and Arts. Currently active as a Vocal Trainer/Producer under Composer Hyung-suk Kim.
At camp — leads the finale choir sung by every participant.
Yongwoo Cho
Majored in Vocals at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts. MM in Jazz Studies from The University of the Arts. Currently CEO of Vocal GoGetIt.
At camp — guides the process of giving the children's lyrics a melody and sound with AI tools.
Youngjae Shin
Singer-songwriter (Boyello, 856Tweak). Currently active as a chorus session member for Lee Moon-sae's band.
At camp — teaches the cover-performance choreography.
Sera Lee
Dance instructor at SM Universe Academy. Former adjunct professor in the K-POP and Practical Dance departments at Kookje University.
At camp — rehearses stage movement and expression for the showcase.
Rose
Former trainer at Double Kick Company · Jellyfish · HYBE Entertainment. Currently an instructor at SM Universe · YG KPLUS.
At camp — keeps the evening team practice focused and supported.
2 Supporters
While students refine their songs and prepare their stage performance on their own, they help facilitate the sessions and watch over the students so that rehearsals stay focused.
Living & Safety Support Team
The people responsible for the children's daily life and safety during camp. Camp managers and residential-care teachers live in the dormitory with them.
Team: 2 camp managers (overall & residential care) + 2 residential-care teachers + 6 student supporters + 2 professional security = 12
Oversees overall camp operations and manages participants' daily life and safety.
Instructors responsible for student care during morning and evening dormitory hours.
Assist with team transitions, meals, and general operations throughout the day, starting from the morning assembly.
Personnel dispatched from a professional security firm manage overnight dormitory and campus safety.
Staffing is based on Cohort 1.
